Having Mercury conjunct, square, opposite, sextile, or trine Uranus, in your birth chart, makes you the genius.

The almost ominous implication of difficulty delineated by the T-Cross and Grand-Cross aspects has its resources in the fact that it pictures an internal or subjective, method of much needed focalization for correction of wasteful tendencies practiced through several past lives

The novile is that aspect which becomes a conjunction in the 9th harmonic. The Hindu astrologers say that the 9th harmonic is to the birth chart as the fruit is to the tree from which it grows. In other words, the ninth harmonic shows the future – what we are headed toward, what we are producing, what we are becoming. It is the goal of our chart.

In astrology, a grand cross occurs when four or more planets a form two sets of oppositions that combine to form four squares. These planets are also usually related by mode (Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable). This is a difficult configuration, but there is usually great strength accompanying it to endure and develop character.

The house position of the ruling planet of the Midheaven's Sign is significant also, as this reveals a field of experience that very often will feel like a true calling at a very deep level.

This pattern creates a particular and strong energy, stronger than you would get by these aspects on their own. I like to use the analogy of a crystal here, a very definite and unique structure which holds a special type of energy which took a long time to create. A person with a Yod will have a difficult time with this frazzling and neurotic energy, especially earlier in life.

If I act out I’m going to get caught and I’m never going to get away with anything, but on the other hand no one seems to get away with causing me problems either!

Yods are rare configurations; if you have one, you’re dealing with some unusually powerful energy.

Aspects represent an energy exchange between the planets and other celestial bodies such as the Sun and Moon, which are frequently referred to planets in astrology for simplicity sake, even though astrologers are fully aware they are not technically a "planet."

In later astrology the term partile generally referred to aspects which were exact or near perfection, whereas platick referred to those which were 'loose', or within the limits of their recognised orbs.
