The Tarot

Discovering what card or cards represent you is not unlike knowing your astrological sun sign and ascendant. It gives you a description of some basic traits you are particularly likely to exhibit and an opportunity to see yourself from a different perspective.

She learned all this not from a book but from the direct experience of living. She learned from others and her environment but arrived at her own conclusions rather than just follow the mob.

The Empress also represents a pure form of extroverted abundance. If you have received this card in your reading, you are going to be well taken care of.

Some people say Lenormand and Tarot have nothing in common. They’re completely different and require different styles of readings. Lenormand gives information that Tarot cannot, and vice versa.

But is this true?

Well, yes and no. Let me explain.

Unlike the tarot, there is less tradition and structure in an oracle card deck. They come with any number of cards, with or without a reference book and they may be designed around a particular theme (like romance or healing) or call on particular deities (like angels or ascended masters).

The number is zero, a symbol for infinity, without beginning or end (alpha and omega). Significantly here, its symbol represents the concept of things being cyclic. Although normally interpreted as void and nothingness, a circle is pregnant with potential.

When one begins to investigate the Hindu religion (world’s oldest), one begins to see Christianity as but a simpler version.

As an experienced cartomancer, I have written endless notes about the Tarot for decades. With that in mind, I would like to share some of what I have learned, regarding one card in particular.
